General

• Framework: changed the framework from Laravel 10 to Laravel 12.
• PHP version: now requires PHP 8.2 or later (^8.2.0).
• Admin UI library: changed from "exceedone/laravel-admin" to "exceedone/exment-admin-core".
  • The namespace has changed from "Encore\Admin" to "ExmentAdminCore\Admin". Plugins, config/admin.php, app/Admin and any customized source code must be updated. → Details
  • "exceedone/exment-admin-core" is installed automatically as an Exment dependency, so you do not need to add it to composer.json.

New features

• Kanban view: a view that shows records as cards in columns by status or another field, which you can drag to move. → Manual
  
• Gantt chart view: a view that shows each record as a bar on a timeline from start date to due date (end date). Supports color coding by choice, progress, milestones and indentation for parent-child relationships. → Manual
• Visual workflow designer: a new "flow designer" for designing workflows by placing statuses and actions on a diagram. → Manual
  
• Cell styles (presets): set how cells look (color, text, etc.) in the data grid and Kanban as presets. → Manual
  
• Data grid tools: added showing/hiding columns, freezing columns, grouping, inline editing, quick preview, bulk actions and more. → Manual
  

Improvements

• Which values are masked in operation logs can now be changed in the configuration file. → Manual
• You can now set the score threshold for Google reCAPTCHA v3 on public forms. → Manual
• Added "Step 3. Notification settings" to the workflow settings, which now have Steps 1–4. → Manual

Changes in behavior

• The Google reCAPTCHA library has changed from "arcanedev/no-captcha" to "google/recaptcha". If you use reCAPTCHA on public forms, you must run "composer require google/recaptcha". → Details
• API rate limiting (throttle) now also applies on Laravel 12.
• Passwords hashed with a different hash cost from the current setting are now automatically rehashed at sign-in.
• "Reload" in the data grid has been changed to "Auto refresh" (off / 30 seconds / 1 minute / 5 minutes). → Manual
• Admin UI library assets (CSS, JavaScript, etc.) have moved from "public/vendor/laravel-admin" to "public/vendor/open-admin".
